Cookie consent expire date

Ok, when i look here it says 12 months, where can you read about the latest GDPR law that says 6 months?

New law in Italy says “banner consent at least 6 months”, it would be useful to change the expiration date of the cookies.

At least 6 months is that it should not be shorter time. An expiry of one year does not conflict with that. But I have noted that wish in my TODO log.

That is a planned feature, don’t know when.
