    How can I translate the Cookie Consent plugin?

    I want to translate the “Heading Text”, “Notification Text” but I don’t know how.

    Can you help me please?

    Yes I have already read the beginners guide.

    But the https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/uk-cookie-consent/ give a change to the users to type their own message in the pop up message. So this message cannot be translated with Loco Translate as I can see. Or if there is any other way to happen this.

    You are correct.

    The strings “Heading Text” and “Notification Text” are translatable only as labels for the form fields in the admin area.

    The values you enter into these form fields have not been made translatable via PO files. So as you say, Loco Translate (which is a PO file editor) has no way of letting you translate these values.

    At a very quick glance it seems the plugin offers various filters which can be used to alter these values. e.g. ctcc_heading_text. With some coding you could use these filters to look up translations.

    Can you put an example of use for the filter “ctcc_heading_text”?
