    Hi!

    Thank you for this amazing plugin!

    I’m now describing cookies for my website and I need to know a description for this one named “chatyWidget__2”
    Also, what’s the category of it? Functional?

    Thank you

    Hey @ricardoaraujo330 , thanks for your comment! This looks like the name of the actual Chaty widget.

    The Chaty plug-in is fully GDPR compliant. These are the cookies that Chaty uses:
    chaty_status_string: to save attention effect animation status/ CTA status
    chaty_settings: to save the click/ view counter for the channels

    Please let me know if this helps and please feel free to contact us at [email protected] for any further questions or concerns.

    Hi Karina,
    Thank you so much for the quick answer. So it should be categorized as functional, not necessary, right? Or you have other suggestion to categorize it?

    Thank you

    Hey again @ricardoaraujo330 , thanks for hanging on! I just heard back from our developer.

    He explained hat for the Pro version, we are also storing cookies based on the widget number: chatyWidget__{widget number}
    It saves user interaction with the widget and widget channels, i.e., if widget/ channels are shown or not, if widget/ channels are clicked or not. It’s a “view and click” cookie. We hope this helps!
