Cookie error on login

  • Hello,

    I have a fresh install of WP 4.1.1 running on a server that has two other wordpress sites (both running 4.1.1, each with its own database) working without a hitch. I completed the install process but am unable to log in. When I type my username and password I get the following error message:

    ERROR: Cookies are blocked or not supported by your browser. You must enable cookies to use WordPress.

    As this is a fresh install, I am using the default theme and no plugins (unless akismet or hello.php are activated by default).

    Cookies are working just fine in my browser, and in fact my other sites are using cookies successfully.

    Help! I have seen a few other threads about this, but none with a solution.

    I should add that I can seen the wordpress_test_cookie in my browser when I visit the wp-login.php page.

    Also, I’ve confirmed that trying to log in doesn’t generate any lines in my error.log file. It generates the following in my access.log file (I’ve removed my IP address):
