Hi, this is probably a missing wp_footer() in your WordPress theme template files for the pages where it does not appear. Please note this is not an issue with this plugin, it is your theme. See https://cookielawinfo.com/faq for details. If you still can’t get it working pleSe let me know your URL. Cheers

    How did you get on?

Thank you very much for asking. ??
I had no time to go further.
I’ve had a look to the faq and I found in both, mainpage and article,
the “cli_show_cookiebar”. I couldn’t find the “cookie-law-info.css” in any of them.
Do I need both in every page? That means the “cookie-law-info.css” will read in another way of the mainpage and the articles doesn’t do that. That’s I have to search for I think.
Do you have a quick suggestion I can check for?
    Nice greetings

    Richard

In that case you are probably missing wp_head() in your theme header template.

    What’s your URL? I can usually tell in under 60 seconds… ??

Hi- it works on some pages but not all. On the pages where it works, there are no errors in the JavaScript console, but on the pages where it doesn’t show there are 3 errors coming from a file called all.js – it looks like a Facebook script is causing the page to stop working which is blocking the cookie law info script. You might want to try and disable the Facebook script (or whichever plugin is causing the issue) temporarily to see if that fixes it.

Hi Richard. Yes I’ve seen this errors too, after studying your FAQ. The script is called via a Widget, I disabled the call of the script (Converted it to a comment, the Widget isn’t viewable anymore.) but it still doesn’t work.
I understood which pages don’t work. All pages with the Widgets on the right side don’t work. The other pages, like Impressum or Banner, are working well. This evening I will go ahead with the research. Ciao ??

Hi Richard, I try the 2.0 beta, but I would go back to 1.4., I tried to uninstall the beta and I deleted all the files via cms,
when reloading via cms the 1.4 and then the active, returns the 2.0 beta,
    Please, can you help me
    Best regards

    Hi

Please start your own thread otherwise this support forum becomes impossible to manage.

In any event there is no Beta 2.0 released yet so I think you must be mistaken.

    Heureka. I found it.
What I have done… Maybe it is usefull for someone else…

The different between the working pages and the “bad” pages were, that in the “bad” ones were widgets in the sidebar at the right.

After finding the 3 errors with the Javaconsole created by the facebook javascript I tried to eliminate this errors. I have had to control the widgets, because here the javascript was called. But this was not the error. So I decided to stop all widgets. I have done this with the menu for the widgets in the admin area of wp. Nothing, error remained. One widget I wasn’t able to cancel. The counter from blogcounter.de. The blogcounter was called with a small script in the sidebar.php. I disabled the counter and all were working well. The solution at the end was, to get a new script from the website of blogcounter.de to embed the counter.

Hope I was able to describe it well.

Thank you very very much for your kindly and quick support Richard.
And nice greetings from Italy ??
