  • Hi,

While it is possible that the plugin is related the problem, I doubt it is the cause. In the case of an HTTP 301 issue I don’t see how the plugin itself would be causing it as all it does is append some HTML to the body tag and run some jQuery. It’s more likely another plugin, and if it is related it is probably another plugin that is interacting with the Cookie Law Info plugin.

Also without a URL to check it’s pure speculation, there’s nothing for me to go on.

Sorry not to be of more help but I think in this case it’s not a direct issue with this plugin. If you do have more info let me know and I’ll see what I can do.

    Cheers

As an addendum, you’re running a very old version of WordPress which isn’t supported by this plugin. For security reasons alone you should update to the latest version of WP.

    Hi Richard,

Thanks for your reply. I agree, it’s extremely odd that the plugin would in any way cause/contribute to a redirect loop. If I get the time I’ll try to find out more about why it happened. You’re quite right, updating WordPress is something very much on the agenda.

    Thanks.
