Hey, thanks for your little plugin!

Could I do a feature request here? I really would like be able to choose my own name for the cookie, so have an option field in admin to change the value of “euCookiesAcc”? Small action, I would think? ??

Also, may be you could bump your version to a next version after having tested in the newest WP? I see no issues, btw.

Another thing is, my anti-malware software triggered when trying to visit your website, and blocked it with error code: “ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR”

    Thanks!

Hi, you’re welcome and thanks for your message.

Unfortunately, we don’t have plans for this free plugin any further than this for now, apart from bug fixes and version bumps. Sorry about that.

About the error you receive, we haven’t heard about that happening on our website from anyone. Which anti-malware software are you using? Everything seems fine with our SSL certificate.

Hi, no problem, i’ll hack the names of the cookie name then, only two occurrences, I see.

My software is Malwarebytes, I am using it with default configuration. It could be a false positive, I dont know, but it does not allow me on your website. Something I almost never experience on websites. When I click the link the Malwarebytes warning is showing me, I end up on this page:

We communicated with Malwarebytes and they confirmed the issue and whitelisted all of our server so that error should no longer appear when visiting our website. Thanks for your report, very grateful for it!
