Cookie question

I inherited this challenge. We are using Contact dB with Contact form 7. It is working perfectly; however, the client really wants returning customers to have the option of being remembered with out having to create an account or logging in. This is basically a request for quote and no financial information is transmitted. Is there any way to create a cookie or something that will accomplish this without having the returning “quoter” re-input their information all over again? Any help with this will be appreciated. I am a newbie, but potentially trainable.
