• I have been using the cookiebot plugin for a few years without problem. Suddenly, the following error message appears in the header of each page of my website: ‘ Please accept [renew_consent]%cookie_types[/renew_consent] cookies to watch this video.

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/moisseyk/public_html/helenshiner.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/cookiebot/addons/controller/addons/jetpack/visitor-cookies.php:255) in /home/moisseyk/public_html/helenshiner.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/sg-cachepress/core/Supercacher/Supercacher_Helper.php on line 79 ‘ I’d be grateful if you could assist. I temporarily deactivated the plugin and the error message disappeared. Is this a new incompatibility with Jetpack? Thanks for your help.

  • I have the same problem and couldn’t even log into the backend. I deactivated cookiebot in the backend via the wordpress site and that worked.
I googled the phrase “Please accept [renew_consent]%cookie_types[/renew_consent] cookies to watch this video.” and it appears that 7380 pages have the same problem, sadly without a solution in sight.
I use the free version of cookiebot. I would be greatful for a solution.

    Same trouble here….any solution?
I also receive every hour an email fro Cron Deamon.

I have the same problem, and it is cursed me a big problem because it has stopped customer from been able to place orders and make payment and I thought it was strange that I had received any orders for over a week now. So i have disabled the plugin and all is now working fine, but as I am in UK I am breaking the law because of not showing a GDPR Cookie notice.

    I got the solution.

Go to Cookiebot – Prior Consent – Jetpack

There you find “Visitor cookies”. Disable the “Display a placeholder”.

    I have the same issue.

I didn’t found the solution from @waschhalle (Go to Cookiebot – Prior Consent – Jetpack – There you find “Visitor cookies”. Disable the “Display a placeholder”.)

Do you have any further informations or solutions?

    Hi there,

Currently, the solution for that message to be disabled is by disabling the placeholder from that plugin.
Like mentioned, you need to access the Cookiebot plugin/ Prior consent/ Jetpack and there you will find a checkbox next to Display a placeholder where you should unmark and save

I finally found that option ??
    Thanks!
