    Hello. I want to know if WC Optimize uses cookies and, if so, I would need a detailed relation of them and their use. I need to know as well what are the company policies regarding the RGPD. Thanks in advance.

  • Hi there,

    The current free version of WP-Optimize (3.1.2) doesn’t set any cookie.
    The upcoming version will set the cookie wpo_commented_post when a user comments on a post, in order to not serve the cached version of the page.

    To clarify, do you mean that the plugin will cause a cookie to be placed on the user’s device when they post a comment? Will this happen if WP-Optimize’s page caching settings are not enabled? (I have a different caching plugin, so I don’t use that functionality.)

    Furthermore, can you tell us what the duration of that cookie will be, and its contents? Will there be an option to NOT set it?
