Cookies bar appearing everytime I visit the website

    The cookie bar is appearing every time I visit the website, even if I click on Accept. I’ve set the duration to 180 days. Is there anything I’m doing wrong?You can take a look at my settings in this image: https://imgur.com/a/ITump

    Hi – I can’t replicate that here. If I dismiss the notification and reload the page, the notification remains hidden, as expected.

    Hey Gareth! Thanks for taking a look.

    Maybe it’s only happening on our network due to some content being restricted to our IP address. I’ll talk to them to see if they are aware of something that could cause this.

    Do you mind trying to visit the site again today to see if the notification remains hidden?

    I am facing the same problem and it happens randomly when I visit my website (bintooshoots.com) in chrome mobile browser. I have no special settings on my phone. I keep seeing the cookie consent bar at the bottom sometimes on the home page and other times while visiting a post. I spent 1-2 hours with this plugin and then uninstalled it as it is hampering the mobile browser experience.

    I also set up the GeoIP plugin and thought it might be the cause. So disabled it still kept seeing the notice bar popping up. I set it to dismiss on click and appear at the bottom.

    One more thing I encountered while setting up the plugin was I initially set it to show a notification at the bottom right then change it to bottom bar but it kept showing in the bottom right. I had to reset all settings to default and start again.

    Even after deleting the plugin I can see cookie consent bar in my mobile browser for that particular page. How can I get rid of this?

    Hey bintooshoots, which cookie plugin are you using now? This issue is still present on the websites we are developing, I confirmed with some friends and they keep seeing the cookie bar everytime they visit the website.

    A fix would be really great.

    Hi geiras, not using any plugin as of now, didn’t get any time to try another plugin. If you end up using another plugin for cookie notice let me know. Thanks.
