On desktop it is fine but when viewed on mobile through safari (in my instance), the button to close the message doesn’t appear properly and you can only see the very edge of the button.

    Thank you

Hi @courtssite, what device are you using, and what orientation? If you can upload a screenshot of what you’re seeing and link to that here, that would be really helpful.

Also, I’m not seeing a cookie banner at all right now; do you still have it enabled?

    Hi @supernovia,

    Thank you for your reply.

I’ve looked at it through iPhone 5 and iPhone 6.

I can’t see it either actually but I thought it might be because i’ve already closed it once.

The settings i have in widgets in the navigation area are:

I haven’t closed it for your site and can’t see it at all. Would you mind removing the widget and re-adding it? Also, if you wouldn’t mind temporarily leaving the default settings, that would help with testing.

Oh one of my colleagues noticed as well that you’re minifying your CSS and JS files, possibly via WP Fast Cache? That could be causing the scripts to break. So please try disabling that as well.

    Hi @supernovia

Thanks, I only actually downloaded that plugin yesterday afternoon.

I’ve now removed and re added it into my navigation with the default settings.

    Thank you

Odd, now your site isn’t connecting to Jetpack at all, which would prevent services like this from working.

Could you try disconnecting and reconnecting it to see if that will help? You may be asked to contact your host if they are blocking settings.

If everything checks out there and you still have trouble, please click on the Debug link at the bottom of the Jetpack page, and send that information to support.

Oh, can you also please double check to be sure your minification plugin is disabled? If you have a caching plugin you’ll need to clear the cache after that so that the script is not minified.

    Hi,

I tried deactivating all plugins except jetpack and still had the connectivity issue. I am having trouble logging into to wp-admin now though as it’s suddenly running really slow. Could this be related to the plugins being deactivated?

    Thanks

Deactivating a caching plugin doesn’t exactly disable the cache. So, try specifically switching off minification, then clearing the cache. Don’t deactivate the caching plugin.
