• I have installed wp-cerber on a client’s website and seem to be having an issue related to cookies.

I am changing the login URL for the client’s website. On my network, after I install WP-Cerber and activate the plugin everything works as expected. However, on my client’s side when they try to access the new login URL they are given the message:

“Cookies are blocked or not supported by your browser. You must enable cookies to use WordPress”

The thing is, cookies are enabled in chrome and I’ve even installed a brand new browser (firefox) to try this as well. It was the same result. I’ve double checked that no extensions are interfering too.

I’m posting here as a long-shot to see if anyone else has had this issue or if a developer can provide insight.

Again, I can log into the website fine from my network so my only guess right now is that maybe wp-cerber’s servers are being blocked by something on their network. I am also suspicious of this because both personnel at their office who access the website have had this issue.

I have asked my client to check if there is anything on their network such as a firewall or something similar that may be blocking.

If you have any ideas you can offer I welcome them. Thanks for reading the post.

Probably it’s a conflict with another plugin. Can you reproduce the issue with no Custom login URL set?

I run into this issue with WP Cerber any time I attempt auto-fill the login with a password manager. This happens on a dozen sites with very few or many plugins installed. Also with whitelisted IP subnet.

I assume it’s due to WP Cerber thinking I’m a bot because of the inhuman nature of password manager actions. Typing login manually works for me, as does copy paste user/pass individually (slowly). =P
