    Hi together,
at first, I will thank you for this really helpfull plugin ! I have it installed on several client sites.

On one site it shows me Cookies from Wistia – a service I do not have installed.
What can I do to fix this ?

I clear all caches (website, backend, browser). Wistia was away for a moment, but suddenly it appered again.

As in Europe there is a prvacy policy hype in a very bad way, I don’t want to go for risk.

Can you please help me ?

I forgot: In cookie descriptions and in service description Wistia and Maxpanel appears even in incognito mode.

    Hello @ardio,

I assume that you had already attempted to clear the list of cookies by using the “Clear cookies” button (Wizard > Consent > Cookie Scan), and upon doing so, running a new Cookie Scan from a fresh Incognito window?

If you are certain that these services are not being used on your website, you can navigate to Complianz > Wizard > Consent > Cookie descriptions, expand the cookie(s) in question and untick “Show on Cookie Policy”.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno

    Hi Jarno,

freshly after haven deleted all caches and Cookie Scan, there is no Wistia. But it appears in the list. I have deleted it like you told me.

But I fear, that there will be anywhere some code – why should complianz find Wistia, if there is noch code …. ?

In Europe there a many crazy people and attorney af law who send chargeable warnings to website operators because of plugins, which collect personal data in USA.

    Best regards

    Hello @ardio,

I’ve visited various pages on the site in question, but could not find any scripts/code that seems related to Wistia. I also noticed that the service no longer appears on your Cookie Policy document, so this seems to be all good now.

Are you still experiencing any issues that you would like assistance with?

    Kind regards,
    Jarno

    Dear Jarno,

on my Cookie Policy Dokument Wistia doesn’t appear, because I unticked it in the wizzard.

I’d never installed Wistia. So I think, it is ok now. But I had the same phenomen on another clients site. On none of these websites I could find a plugin causing this.

    Thanks for your help.
    Best regards

Hi! Same case for me, I did not hear about Wistia till I scan using your plugin so I have no clue where its coming. My educated guess is that other plugin its using it only on admin panel but I have not way to check it, would be interesting to know where and why are you getting info of not installed cookies.
