    Dear Complianz Team

Ok sorry I have to steal your time, but I really tried to help myself.

    I read through:
    https://complianz.io/definitive-guide-to-tag-manager-and-complianz/
Merged your triggers and tags into my container.
Then I read through: https://complianz.io/debugging-issues/ and excluded Complianz.min.js in WP Rocket.

Hoped that this is the solution but Tag Manager still gets fired before consent.

In the google tag manager preview it says scripts are getting fired.
Also here https://webbkoll.dataskydd.net/en/results?url=http%3A%2F%2Fstudiomint.at%2F my findings are confirmed.

What else could I do? Why is it so complicated to find a working solution? Would it be a better way to work with the script center?

At first I thought your plugin does autoblock all the scripts with further ado, this is what it communicates in the backend. A partner agency told me I should look into my consent management since it’s not working. Since I used your plugin for all my clients as well, it’s a bit of an urgent topic.

So here I am now. Desperatly looking for a hint.

    Hi @richirich,

As you’re using Tag Manager to load these scripts, you will have to set the Firing Trigger of the tags that require consent, to one of the Complianz triggers.

Most-likely you are currently firing these tags with a trigger that doesn’t wait for any consent to be obtained; such as the All Pages trigger.

As you’ve already added the Complianz triggers to your GTM container, you can now change the Firing Trigger of these tags to an event such as “Trigger Statistics” or “Trigger Marketing”, to make them wait for consent on that category in Complianz.

Please see the below example as well, where the Analytics tag fires on “Statistics” consent and the TikTok Pixel loads on “Marketing” consent.

    Kind regards, Jarno

Thank you, I just merged your .json in my container and hoped it’s all good.
    Going to look into that.

    Hi @richirich,

Did you get a chance to look into it, is the issue resolved? We are happy to help you further.

    Kind regards, Kim

This is how it looks since I merged your json into my container. Should be correct, isn’t it?
