Coordinating Domain Names

  • I am trying to site up A site for a writers retreat program, Doe Branch Ink, LLC. My son registered the domain name doebranchink.org through WordPress but he and a buddy never followed through. Meanwhile, I put the content I want in full draft form in https://doebranchink.wordpress.com/. I prefer a simpler domain name, and I see that I can upgrade from the built-out site. I was about to upgrade to doe-branch-ink.com, but then worried about confusion with doebranchink.org. Then I said I would look at how I could just kill or cancel doebranchink.org. I logged into that site but didn’t see a way to kill it, and I’m not sure I had the right site admin rights. So:
    1) Is there a way to suppress an existing site that I own, first choice. Or 2) Can I use the doebranchink.org I already have licensed as the entry point for the content at https://doebranchink.wordpress.com/ ?

    to https://doebranchink.org?

    add a theme and run your site as a www.ads-software.com Blog?
