Copy bulleted bolded text from MS Word – cropped

    no no no no…. please don’t copy & paste from word ??

    All joking aside, when you copy and paste from word into WP (without using the special copy from Word button) it will copy a lot of microsoft code witch completely bloats your posts and reeks havoc on the themes styling of your post.

    The number followed by a dot and then text is recognised as a list item. Since there already is a list bullet at the beginning of the line it drops the number.

    It’s better to use something like Dreamweaver or some other WYSIWYG website editor program and copy from there. (not Frontpage)

    Hi, it is not a problem for me, I write everything directly in WordPress. But my colleagues are preparing the first posts in Word (for cooperation) and the finals are inserted into WordPress.
    OK, I reported it, it’s not necessary to fix it immediately. Thanks a lot.
