Copy email address from Contact info into Extended Profile email field?

  • I have currently imported data from a Joomla based site over to s2member pro and noticed that none of the members have the email address populated in the Extended Profile. However, the email addresses are populated in the email address filed for the regular Profile tab/section.

    I can copy paste from Profile into the Extended Profile section, however I have hundreds of members. Is there a more efficient way to do this instead of manually inputting?

  • If you use the export tool to export to CSV, you should be able to copy one column to the other, and then reimport the CSV file.

    I’ve tried that, and unfortunately there is only one email address field/column in the export (I’m am exporting from s2member) so there is not a blank email column that would contain the field for “extended profile.”

    There are a couple of other plugins that export to CSV that might help here. One is called Export Users to CSV and another is Export User Data.

    If they manage to export with the relevant data, you could then copy the column from their exported file to the one you want to import back in with the s2Member import tool.
