copy functions.php in child theme to change color menu

Try not to copy the functions.php file into the Child Theme, you should start by creating a new functions.php file from scratch instead.

What function do you want to override?

When I open
https://www.jeromemeyer.com on my iOS
the menu color is black instate of white

I would like to change this

This was my own deduction:
I should be able to find the line that command the color
to display the menu on a smartphone, so that I can change it
I might be wrong

Moreover it seems that there are two kind of way to display the menu
on a smartphone: in my case it jumps from one way ( the same as the
computer way, in white) to the next one ( one word: “menu”) but in black

it seems for the second point
that
it is the relative width of the index page that cause the trouble because
there is not this problem in the other pages

Sorry it’s not clear why you need to use the functions.php file.
