Thanks for the great plugin. Unfortunately I still have problems with the copy / paste function. If I want to copy a flexible module, nothing is stored in my clipboard. But now, after testing in Firefox, I found that only Chrome has a problem?! I use Version 76.0.3809.132 (Mac OS)

Other problem. Copy does not the same as clone. With clone I get exactly the same flexible layout again. With Copy “only” a copy of the text fields. No Image no other fields.
Anyone else with this experience? Cause of that i use the older Plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/acf-flexible-layouts-manager/ still in modified form. In works fine for copy from one page to another! (the only problem is with copying image-urls fields.

    Maybe my experiences can help.

    Best regards
    Daniel

I see now, the paste data field is too small for my complete clipboard content. That is a reason, why copying has not the same result as cloning.

    Hello,

Thanks for the report! I worked with Valentin on the ACF Flexible Layout Manager plugin. However, the solution we released back then wasn’t very dynamic and flexible. That’s why I decided to rework the whole feature and push it in ACF Extended.

    – Firefox / Chrome Copy problem:
I tested both browsers, and they work correctly. I will try to think about an alternative solution for browsers which cannot copy layouts data. BTW, in Firefox, do you the receive the message “Layouts data have been copied to your clipboard” (even if it wasn’t copied)?

    – Paste box being “too small”
This is a “visual” limiation of your browser. If the data is too large, the input will be visually truncated and ended with “…”. However, all data are actually correctly pasted.

I think the problem with your fields not correctly being pasted is related to a bug I found yesterday. I had similar issues to your, and now it’s fixed.

I just pushed a new version: 0.7.9.9.9 which includes this fix. Can you please update the plugin and try again? Remember the flush your browser cache, to make sure the new copy/paste script is used ??

Let me know if it works!

    Regards.

    Thanks for your quick reaction!
    – Firefox / Chrome Copy problem:
Seems to be a Chrome problem of my version or settings.

    – Paste box being “too small”
Ok, you are right. I think you fixed it. I updated your new version and now copy/paste seems to work fine!

    Thank you!
I’m looking forward to further work with the plugin
