• screen capture for problem –>

a lot of my workflow consists of moving multiple blocks from 1 entry to another. i have no problem using shift and ighlighting multiple blocks but when i try to copy with ‘commmand C or from file drupdown menu), and then try to paste to new entry, it will only paste whatever was in clipboard before i tried the blocks/ Anyone else have this problem? up until a month or so ago, it had worked a;thogh it would take 2 rries in a lot of cases. I could add the multiple blocks to ‘uesable’ and then input into new entry but that not only slower but if i am copying 20 or more blocks at once, it takes up to 5 minu for them to show up in the resable block menu. any help is appreciated!

I’ve not encountered similar problems, but I don’t copy/paste content very much. Maybe you could try working in the code editor (thru upper right 3 dot menu), at least for copy/pasting. Since the code editor is plain text, perhaps it will work more reliably for you. The big disadvantage is you cannot see any formatting in code view. The advantage is you can ensure you are copying complete block elements because all HTML and block delimiters are visible in code view.

thanks…yes i think using code editor is a good workaround…also it works if i switch to ‘classic editor’, although doing this inserts text into ‘classic block’ that cannot be converted to new block format.

the best workaround i’ve found is to just copy/paste from the actual blog rather than from editor mode.
