Hi, I tried to export settings and use them on another website but when I enter the code generated over, nothing changes in the settings of the new domain.

    Thanks for help.

    Hi @openwebie,

What module are you testing this for?

Sometimes there can be issues migrating menus or toolbars across websites, so if this is what is not copying over I unfortunately won’t be able to help you because it’s difficult and troubleshoot this kind of issue as there can be various things that can go wrong when transplanting a menu and toolbar on one site to another.

    Thanks,

I am trying to export settings from Manage Settings tab. When I do that, I get a code. When I use that code in the import settings field I don’t get the same results.

I understand that, I am asking you what modules you are exporting and how you are assessing whether the result is the same. I mentioned before that you can sometimes expect it to not work for toolbars and admin menu modules. The other modules should be ok.

    Thanks,

I understand. I wasn’t getting colour settings from the Admin Colour Scheme either. Maybe it was due to another plugin. I don’t want to try messing with it incase I lose all current settings. Thanks for the quick support.
