Copying WordPress blog to another subdomain but keep original going?

I have a photography WP blog located on a subdomain and would like to copy the entire site to a new subdomain – however I want to keep the original blog going as the new one is a different genre of photography.

I can only find information on how to move a blog but not to keep the original install going. Is there anything I have to do specifically for this type of copy?
