    Hi.
    On my site this comes up at the bottom:
    Proudly powered by WordPress | Theme: klean by Divjot Singh.

    Am I allowed to change this in any way? If so can it me done with custom css?

  • Yes you can change it… You will have to create a Child Theme to edit the footer.php file.

    If you don’t create a child theme when the theme is updated you will lose your edits.

    I do have a child theme, but when I activated it (one-click child theme) all the changes Ive made with custom css plugin was lost. Can I not have a child theme and use a custom css plugin?

    I personally use both, do you have the code on both the child theme and the custom css plugin?
