Copyright section in footer

  • Hello. My site is using the latest version of the Spacious theme (free version). In the footer there is a section which displays copyright info. It currently displays:

    Copyright ? 2025 · Kabultec

    Am I able to change the text that is displayed in this copyright section using the WordPress UI? If so, how? If not, how would I approach that? I would need to add some custom code–is that correct?

    Am I able to hide this copyright section using the WordPress UI? Or would I have to do that with custom code?

    I am aware that I can add a separate footer section which displays above the copyright. But I am specifically asking about this copyright section.

    The option to customize the Footer Copyright section is availalbe in the Pro version of Spacious. According to the WordPress Forum policy, we are not allowed to discuss the premium feature here.

    OK thanks for that info. Let me ask a follow-up question about the free version.

    With the free version, in order to edit, or completely hide this section, I’ll need to use custom code. Am I understanding correctly?

    @carlgross these guys work hard on this theme. Go ahead and purchase the pro version of the theme so you can customize the footer.

    I’m not sure I follow.

    I should be able to implement any custom code required. I just wanted one final confirmation that custom code would be required to both customize the content of this section and completely hide this section, or if there was perhaps some UI option to hide the section. The former is probably true, but I just thought I’d ask since we were here.
