Does anyone know why the core plugin was removed from WordPress today? I use the plugin extensively on my site and would hate to remove all the links I’ve created and have to start over with another plugin/method.

Hopefully, it wasn’t for anything that would compromise the site’s security. Anybody have any info on this?

    Thanks,
    J

  • The core plugin was temporarily closed on www.ads-software.com in error and resolved shortly thereafter.

Basically, one of our contributor profiles for the plugin had an outdated email address so www.ads-software.com wasn’t able to reach the email address tied to that profile. When we fixed the email address we got in contact with the WP plugin team and the plugin was restored several hours later.

We have over 10,000+ installs of EasyAzon and have been offering this plugin for years. This was just a simple error on our end which we rectified by updating an outdated email address on one of our user profiles.

Don’t worry, we’re not going anywhere.
