The core integrity check reports all WP files as added. I installed version 1.7.5 on a fresh German WP 4.1. As far as I understood the plugin doesn’t support a check for localized versions, right? I tried to mark all files as fixed but nothing happened, I get the same message again. Any suggestions what I can do to solve this?

  • The error with the checks of non-English installations was fixed several weeks ago (at 11/28/14 15:07:36) with this commit [1] so the error that you are experiencing is caused by a different thing. As I understand WordPress only changes a few files to offer a different language during the installation, so you should not see all its files (which are 1,168 files) flagged by the plugin, it would be normal to see five or maybe ten but not all of them.

I will compare the checksums of the German version of WordPress with the checksums reported by WordPress in its current stable version 4.1 [2] to see what could be the issue. For now just ignore the warnings.

As for the issue with the action to mark files as fixed, it only works if the plugin can write in this location [3] because there is where a file with the list of ignored files will be created.

    [2] https://api.www.ads-software.com/core/checksums/1.0/?version=4.1&locale=en_US
    [3] /wp-content/uploads/sucuri/

After several tests I was not able to reproduce the issue. If the plugin is reporting all the WordPress files as stated by the OP then it is highly recommended to restore the original code of these files because it does not make any sense that the German version of the official archives comes with different checksums.

Also, try to install the development version of the plugin [1] and see if something changes, but I really believe that the issue is in your installation rather than the plugin’s code.
