Anyone who says this is easy is fooling themselves, Cornerstone is so dumbed down, ever heard of keyboard shortcuts? No? They’re mighty handy and useful…also, why no edit offline ability? I want to see my page before publishing it…live editing is the worst.

We have keyboard shortcuts too: https://www.ads-software.com/documentation/article/keyboard-shortcuts-block-editor/

also, why no edit offline ability?

WordPress is software that runs on a server which you access through your browser, thus internet access is required to use WordPress as-is.

However, there is an official mobile app that provides offline editing https://www.ads-software.com/mobile/ and a third-party desktop app that provides offline editing https://apps.wordpress.com/desktop/ which you can use if you also have the Jetpack plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/jetpack/

Thanks, but I’m not interested in having to relearn what I learnt 30 years ago…ctrl-z for undo, ctrl-c for copy, ctrl-v to paste etc.
This is just so damn frustrating to use, I’m used to Dreamweaver, where you can wysiwyg edit your page without having to publish just to save any edits.
Also, the text block editing sucks the proverbial, I shopuld be able to just click in the main screen where I want to edit, perform the edit and press enter for it to update…but no, I have to double click the text block and hope it doesn’t freak the eff out and dump what I’ve edited…
