    Hello,
    Today I charged my customer from Russia in Russian Rubles. I was noticed that on payment button there was “Rup {amount}” instead of correct “RUB {amount}”, though they were charged correctly in Rubles.
    Could you please correct this as the error confuses customers.

    Interesting find! This actually is not an issue on our end though as Stripe is the one that populates the currency to the button.

    I am going to email their support about the issue to see if they are aware of it and can get it changed.

    I just wanted to post back here so you could be updated on the status here. I haven’t tested it personally just yet, but I just received this email from Stripe support.

    “Hi Nick,

    This should be fixed for Russian Rubles. Let me know if there’s still an issue!

    Thanks for your reply.
    Before posting here I addressed the issue to Stripe of course. Here is their reply:
    “Hi there,

    Thanks for getting in touch. Stripe uses the ISO 3-letter code RUB for Russian Rubles (?and INR? for Indian Rupee). Are you using a third-party plugin or other source for your checkout form? In that case, you’d need to get in touch with the developer or support team for that plugin for assistance with properly displaying the currency on the checkout form.
