Corrupt Dashboard

    I previously used KQF 1.7.4 theme – but during an upgrade the dashboard was corrupted making access to most settings impossible. I have tried changing to a new theme – the old theme dashboard persists. I have overwritten the wp-admin file with one from another blog that is still working – but still no fix.

    Could someone please tell me where the template file for the dashboard is located so I can overwrite it to correct this problem – or any other way i can correct this issue

    form the same WP version to the same WP version?

    Thanks for responding t-p. I tried the approach of reinstalling WordPress manually to maintain the database. Seems to finally have fixed the problem.
