Corrupts Database Settings!

This plug-in has caused me HOURS and HOURS of problems. USE WITH CAUTION or not at all. In the process of upgrading wordpress and my theme, half of my dashboard menu items went missing! I could not access posts, pages, plug-ins, etc. Because I had some issues with ai1ec in Oct 2012, that was my first guess. But upon disabling it, the problem remained. After much troubleshooting and dozens of hours, finally realized that database settings had become corrupt. Figured it was an incomplete auto upgrade of wp3.5. Fixed the settings and all was working again. So, I reactivated ai1ec and the problems happened again! Same exact database settings became corrupt. I went to the forums, sent an email to the developers with NO RESPONSE.
