Once the rental dates have been selected, the costs displayed by the booking process cannot be modified, as the calculation of the final rental costs for the requested dates is part of the core framework of the plugin. However, you’ve got several settings and options for having the system calculate the rental costs properly. The most you could do is to create an override for the page “search”, which is the one showing the search results in the first step of the booking process. By using the “Overrides Manager” tool in the configuration page of VikRentCar, you could actually apply a custom division of the final rental cost calculated in order to display the cost per day rather than the cost for the whole rental.
Instead, for the pages (Shortcodes) of type “Cars List”, where the rental dates have not been selected yet, the system will display by default the rental cost for one day of rent. You can change this value from the settings of each car by using the back-end management page and by setting a value for “Custom Starting From Price”.
Lastly, the Options/Extras are displayed in the second last step of the booking process together with the various rate plans (types of price) configured and available for the selected vehicle. Once the Options/Extras have been selected, users are taken to the last step of the booking process, which is the order confirmation page (summary) and all costs/fees/extras will be displayed. Even in this case, if you wanted to hide the prices for your Options/Extras from the second-last step of the booking process, then an override for this page would be required, unless you eventually want to hide the prices via CSS (either by using your Theme or by using the apposite CSS file for customization available in the Configuration page of VikRentCar).
