Could anyone recommend a wordpress template?

  • Hello there,

    I would be realy happy if someone could recommend me a wordpres theme. It is for an academic paper which goes out twice a year. I would like it to have an ability for the pictures/ilustrations to be placed in the front page, and that each ilustration would be a link to a CATEGORY (eg the seperate volume of the paper). Also, I would like it to be possible that each category would have an ability for its colour scheme to be set.

    Looking forward to your suggestions!

    P.S. It doesn’t have to be a free theme.

    Have you checked out magazine themes? If you search in themes for “magazine,” I think you’ll find some good choices.

    Many of them have the photos arranged on the front page that you could link to your volumes.

    Hey, thanks for your answer.

    So far the best one I’ve been able to find was Xin Magazine.

    However, I would like to find something a little more sophisticated, more elegant. Perhaps I should try modifying this one.
