• the thing is: this plugin should use its OWN database tables for entrys, and NOT the wp post tables for not to blow up the wp queries. AND if you do not deactivate the mass of option that are not really important for you, you will see a slowdown of your wp installation.

on the other side : the plugin works like a charm

    Hello arcticblue,

Thank you for using our plugin and for the review though please note that:

    1. The plugin uses its own tables and does not store anything in the wp_posts table. You can read more about the plugin’s database structure from this database documentation document.

Therefore if your posts table is being populated check what it is because I can confirm it is not our plugin.

    2. I can assure you that the plugin won’t slow down your website since it only logs actions of logged in users, and it is very efficient. The plugin is used on more than 30,000 websites and has been also tested by the likes of WP Engine, who said “performs quite admirably in the stress tests I put it through”.

Therefore again if your website is being slowed down I would recommend you to check again what it is.

If you do need additional help please contact us on [email protected] and we will gladly help you find out what the issues could be.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

I will second this. If the plugin could work from another database (not just tables) that would be great.

    Hello Halo,

You can configure the plugin to keep the alerts in its own database by purchasing the External DB add-on.

Note that we cannot have such behaviour in the default plugin install because there is no guarantee that users will always have an allocated database for them to use, so it is an optional feature.

While I trust the above answers your query, please do not hesitate to get in touch in case of further questions.
