Could do better

I am a current user and a big fan of this plugin, submitting this review to share my honest opinion of the plugin.

The plugin has a few styling problems I have encountered. At first, I’d had to buy 4 themes (including 2 of Wootheme’s paid child themes and the Mystile) only to find out that styling wise, none of them was quite compatible with the plugin. The More Vendor button would not properly scroll down in some themes, or the More Offers table was totally out of style in others, and the Vendor’s Individual pages had css problems in all themes.

Anyways, I ended up with the a theme fairly compatible with the plugin. Yet again, there are styling problems right out of the box.

Plugin could certainly use a more robust Vendor Rating System. Customers would appreciate more details about many vendors of the same product when choosing from a list of them.

The simple question of “Rate the Merchant” after the checkout does not truly reflect the vendor’s performance. To have a fair marketplace both vendors and customs deserve a more robust rating system. A rating system that takes into account other factors such as price, delivery, customer service, product satisfaction etc.

When it comes to physical products customers would like to know 2 things before they proceed to checkout. Shipping rates and taxes. These 2 critical components are currently missing in the More Offer table. Adding these 2 components to will enable customers to instantly make a thorough comparison between multiple vendors and choose the best offer, which is in fact the essence of marketplace.

In the current version of the plugin, customers can only choose from the lowest price plus highest overall rating, and proceed to cart only to find out that there might be taxes or unexpected shipping fees, causing them to leave the cart.
