• WooCommerce – Tools, after pressing Background Processing Test
This tool will test whether your server is capable of processing background jobs. Run test:

Could not connect. Please ask your hosting company to ensure your server has loopback connections enabled.

This error popped up, also another one remains, Action Scheduler migration in progress. The list of scheduled actions may be incomplete.

    Hi @iimark!

Background processing is required to successfully sync product data between Square and WooCommerce. Square and many other WooCommerce features/plugins require background processing. If your site fails, please contact your host to enable background processing/loopback connections. While some hosts may identify this as a security issue, there’s no security threat to using a loopback connection and, if done correctly, it won’t increase server usage. Quality hosts will mitigate increased server usage with rate limiting.

    Cheers!

    Hi @rynald0s,

Thank you for your response, we’ve asked SiteGround tech team with your reply, please find their response to your suggestion:

We have reviewed what you mentioned and the reply from the ticket within www.ads-software.com and no background processing or loopbacks are detected nor any security issues. It is like the connection is not being established at all or a request is not being sent to us. I would recommend checking again with the plugin author other possible troubles that could occur or ask for more detailed instructions on how to set up the function for your WordPress.

Can you please help again to see if there’s any solution?

    Kind regards,
    Mark.
