    our PayPal checkout was working 2 days ago and now i cant take an order.
    no credentials have changed and i get this error when something is in our cart:

    “Could not create token.”

    i can see all the PayPal and credit card buttons, etc. and my WP dashboard shows an ERROR:

    “Authentication with PayPal failed: Could not create token.”

    Please verify your API Credentials and try again to connect your PayPal business account. Visit the plugin documentation for more information about the setup.

    i deleted the plugin and reinstalled, all the PayPal API configurations are correct.i dont know how to fix this. i rolled back 3 days from my site back up and still nothing.

    can someone PLEASE HELP!!!

    update: i turned off the PayPal plugin and revered to the built in woocommerce “PayPal Standard” payment option and that works.

    does that mean there is some plugin conflict?

    PayPal Standard doesnt NOT require and ID Keys or API credentials, just our PayPal user email.

    please advise.

    Yesterday there was a PayPal server outage, but this should now be resolved. I would suggest reactivating our plugin and see if it now behaves as expected, so that you can keep it active again.

    If this does not help, I would try onboarding your account again using the connect wizard, to be sure that your account is correctly onboarded. Issues can occur when the plugin is updated (as was done yesterday), so it could be good to onboard your PayPal account once more in any case.

    If none of this helps, you might want to perform some conflict testing and see if you can isolate any issue with other plugins.
