Could not open socket – Everything works?

Hi Support,
We have strange problem in our website. When we check our logs we see that every email is send. But almost every day we suddenly get 20 mails in our inbox with the message: Could not open socket
Is this bad? And how can this be solved?
We have outgoing mailserver on SMTPS with 465 port.
