Even with the latest plugin update to V 1.9.4, I still have customers whose orders are failing with this message in my Woocommerce backend:

“Could not retrieve order. OrderEndpoint.php:459 Order status changed from Pending payment to Failed.”

Do you have any other fixes for this?

I’ve already lost quite a bit of money with failed orders and people not coming back to try again!

    Thanks

    Hello @srsheldon

Apologies for any inconvenience caused by this issue.

This issue was recently fixed by the latest version of the plugin; 1.9.4
If this issue still occurs on your site, we will be interested in a copy of your WooCommerce system report and your latest PayPal Payments log files.

The system report can be accessed here:
WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support

You can copy the log files from here:
WooCommerce > Status > Logs > select “woocommerce-paypal-payments-[…]” in the dropdown and click on view.

You can share it privately with us here:

If you send a private message, please include a link to this thread.

    Regards,
    Femi.

I am having this same error with WooCommerce PayPal Payments version 2.0.0.

What can I do to resolve this? I am losing business. Thanks.

I’m getting this issue on 2.0.0 as well.

If this only affects a few customers, it may be related to their device or browser.
But when you can consistently reproduce it and are not seeing the PayPal smart buttons in your Checkout, there may be an error.
Since we haven’t heard back from you, I’ll mark this resolved, but we’re here to continue to look into this with you.
    Thanks!
