Could not update Social Connections error

    Hi – I’m trying to connect Jetpack Social to Threads and Bluesky but both give an error – which just flashes up in a black box, but the gist is ‘Could not update Jetpack Social connections’.
    There are mentions of this online and I have tried incognito, deleting cookies and browsing history, disabling the plugin, and https://isthismusic.com/xmlrpc.php gives the “POST requests only” message that it’s supposed to. Facebook, Instagram and Mastodon are already connected ok, it’s just these new networks that are failing to connect. Is there anything else I can do? Thanks – Stuart

  • Hi there,

    It looks like there was an issue with your Jetpack connection, but I made some changes on my end, and that has been fixed now.

    Please try to connect again, and let us know how it goes.

    For Threads, ensure you are logged in before attempting the connection, as there is a known issue with the authorization process.
