Could there be the possibility to implement current year or date?

First, your plugin is great, I wonder why there are only a few installs.

Since there was some recent activity regarding the update to 1.3, I thought maybe you could help me with that question. I’m looking for some way to implement current year/date to the overwrite text, so it can be used somehow like this without manually updating the text every year: ? 2024 by upward

I think the easiest whay would be that the plugin supports shortcodes in the textarea, so that I can simply use a plugin like this to achieve this.
