    Hi Jan,

I set a default featured image for posts. But when I try to edit a particular post by adding a new image to it, first i need to delete default feature image from that post and then add the new image.

In that case, the default featured image gets deleted on all the posts. Is there any solution for this?

    Looking forward for your response.

    Hello,

Are you using the normal wordpress admin? On what kind of edit page are you?
Are you using a page builder like divi/elementor?

I need a bit more information.

    Hello,

    Thanks for your response.

We created a custom post type form using WP User Frontend plugin.

Please check the form here -> https://ibb.co/bQ3yDy4

The details submitted on this form will be created as posts.

Also we are using elementor. Let me know, if you need any more details.

    Hello,

Just checking but you mean this plugin right: WP User Frontend
This problem only happens when a post is created through this plugin right?

    Hello,

I’ve created a solution. Can you install this 1.7.0-beta version of the Default featured image.

You can download is and install it via the wp-admin. WordPress should show an update screen confirming the higher version.

From my tests this works but I’d love your feedback before releasing this to the world.
