Couldn't connect to host

I’m a new user and haven’t been able to make a backup yet because each time I try, I get the following error message:

“The HTTP response test get a error “couldn’t connect to host”The HTTP response test get a false http status ()”

Could someone tell me what I’m doing wrong so that I can get the backup to work?
