Couldn’t connect to my user account

I’m encountering difficulties connecting our user account to Jetpack on our live site, https://stories.purdue.edu/. Upon attempting to connect, an error message appears: “An error occurred. Please try again.” You can access the
xmlrpc.php
file for this site here: https://stories.purdue.edu/cms/xmlrpc.php.Could you please investigate what might be causing this issue? Interestingly, our account connects without any problems on our test site, https://stories.test.purdue.edu/, which shares identical configurations with our live site. It seems that Jetpack consistently identifies the test site as the default, despite the live site being our primary platform.
