Couldn’t create slider

    Hi! The instruction is wonderful up to the point where you’re supposed to create a slider:

    From Menu Click Appearance >> then Customize >> Custom Home Page Settings >>Slider Settings and Now choose pages that were created for slide 1,2 & 3.

    – I just don’t have this option available! It just shows -select- OR Uncategorized.

    Relentlessly, I searched further and the instruction works when you change the wording – you don’t create pages but POSTS and publish them under the category UNCATEGORIZED -> now my page has the slider as originally intended by the theme authors.

    or another category you name and create also works – like sliders or whatever helps you distinguish what to choose
