• Elaborate instructions required to make this plugin work … Couldn’t get past step one as the Google website doesn’t even offer a “Create project” button which is STEP ONE in the instructions!

Moving on to something that is more like WordPress – easy to install, up & running in minutes / not hours!

I’m sorry the plugin didn’t work for you as expected.

We are working to improve our documentation, but it is a work in progress and we ask that folks try using our support forums first.

As for Google’s website and instructions on their calendars, that is out of our hands. Our plugin simply bridges Google Calendar feeds with WordPress. We’re not attempting to be an all-in-one calendar solution. There are other great plugins for that.

Remember this is a free plugin and we’re currently limited on the time we can spend on it in relation to other work. We simply need to prioritize with the most popular and crucial items that pop up first here in the forums.

We’d appreciate you considering a revision of your review to reflect what this plugin has set out to do and what we do and do not have control over.

    Thank you.

To follow up, I assume you’re referring to the API key setup instructions on https://wpdocs.philderksen.com/google-calendar-events/getting-started/api-key-settings/.

Step 1 already says to head to https://console.developers.google.com/ to find the “Create Project” button. Did you happen to see that and try it?
