• Hi there,

I am having this error show up when I try to view Pages from the main dashboard menu.

    Couldn’t load tree : undefined.

The loading/thinking wheel just keeps turning and turning while this error pops up on the screen and I can’t edit ANY of my pages?

Any help is greatly, greatly appreciated!

  • Try:
    – switching to the default theme automatically by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and the wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    – running the upgrade manually via wp-admin/upgrade.php

    Hi there,

Thank you for your reply. I was under the impression that the plugins were all reset by someone else, but alas they were not.

The culprit was the Simple 301 Redirects plugin.

The pages have all returned ??

Thanks again, I really appreciate your efforts.
