Couldn't update to WordPress 4.5

I wasn’t able to update WP to 4.5 because the update script always stopped at “Unpacking the update…”.
It was impossible to deactivate “WP Time Capsule”, too. That link resulted in a white blank screen.
Only deleting “WP Time Capsule” from the Plugin directory solved the problem.
