Count links REST API permission denied

Manual Count links doesnt work on our page. When starting the process in the admin panel, a window opens up, but count doesnt start. Looking into the Google Console, I get the following error:

GET https://www.backenmachtgluecklich.de/wp-json/yoast/v1/reindex_posts 520 ()

When opening this URL directly, I get a “code”:”rest_forbidden” error message. However the Permalink structure and general permissions seem to fit, as opening the following URL (same URL without /reindex_posts) works: https://www.backenmachtgluecklich.de/wp-json/yoast/v1/

I’ve researched this topic on this forum and the web but didnt find a solution. I am using Yoast SEO 6.2 and WordPress 4.9.2

Maybe related – in the Post summary I see only the outgoing internal links column, not the incoming internal links column.
