Just checked one of your posts and WPP was able to track my visit normally:

I do have a few comments/questions for you:

1. Is/was Data Sampling enabled on your site? From your report earlier apparently it was enabled (Data Sampling: Enabled) but from what I see it seems it’s not active right now.

Data Sampling if not correctly configured can impact your site’s statistics negatively so make sure you’re using the right settings for your website.

2. What do you mean with “the full stats” exactly?

For example the last hour in dashboard will show 50 views but in the full stats will be 0

3. I see you’re using the AMP plugin on your site. The reason I’m bringing this up is because AMP doesn’t execute third-party JS code:

AMP pages can’t include any author-written JavaScript. Instead of using JavaScript, interactive page features are handled in custom AMP elements.

(Emphasis mine.)

This is a problem because WordPress Popular Posts relies on JavaScript to do various things, including keeping track of page views. In short: WPP won’t work on your AMP pages which will impact the accuracy of the statistics you’re seeing on the Stats section.

Data sampling was enabled at the time of issues. I disabled as part troubleshooting.

I have now disabled AMP plugin.

Full stats is the “WordPress Popular Posts – Stats” page. Accessed by clicking the XXX views in the last hour link from WP dashboard home.

Hoping this will fix the odd view numbers now.
